An exciting summer at VVC is just around the corner.

The VVC Board of Directors are working hard to bring city water to the Valley!
Although city water to the camp won't be completed by summer time you may see the work in progress this year as construction crews should begin the process of bringing in the much needed upgrade.

We have cleared some brush and opened up some of the views as well.

The kitchen has received a bit of a facelift. Fresh paint and better lighting as well as a few new upgrades to the refrigeration and freezing appliances is in the works.  A new ice maker should be installed prior to your arrival as well which will provide about twice as much ice as in previous years.

VVC is seeking funds which will provide better sleeping accomodations in the future as well.  Painting the interior walls and ceilings of the cabins along with fresh wooden bunkbeds is our plan.  Once again...depending on funding and volunteer efforts this may or may not happen by this summer but we are doing the best we can!  We are also looking at a heating option for the girls cabins as well.  This doesn't do much for the summer tennants, but should help when you are looking for a place for a Fall or Spring retreat.

A brand new electrical service drop has been added to the cabin areas.  This has been long overdue and we are thankful that we were able to get this done.  The boat house has a functioning restroom with a toilet and sink.

The Game House is now "The Cafe". This is an ongoing project.  This year you will find cafe tables and chairs where the old, warped, and worn out ping pong table and other game tables have been.  This will provide an area, out of the elements, where you can play table type games, hold devotionals, or just lounge while you enjoy your canteen.  The future hope for this area is that we enclose the building and insulate it so that we can provide heat/air for year-round use by all types of groups.  We may even have a kitchenette/snack bar area where the canteen is now so that you can be served inside or out.

As you can see...we are diligently working hard to make your stay at VVC a pleasant, exciting, and memorable stay!  Please be patient with us as we seek funding for these projects as well as the servant hearts that will help us accomplish these dreams.  God is doing amazing things at VVC!
